Notre Dame was about 30 steps from the door of our hotel. The black spire in the middle of the church was Gothic Ornate and more impressive to me than the towers at the front. Notice the copper patina monks climbing up closer to heaven. The Tower climb was 430 steps up. Who knew heaven was so close.
